All 15 prosecutors in Vidin who are eligible to vote have cast ballots for the professional-quota members of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), said prosecutor Liliya Petrova, chair of the Section 5 election commission. Turnout in the section was 100%.

The voters are prosecutors from the regional and district prosecutor's offices. Petrova gave the figures as the ballot count was streamed online on the SJC website. Section 5 had no invalid ballots.

How it all started: Prosecutors vote today for four members of Supreme Judicial Council

Voting began at 8am today with paper ballots and ended at 6pm. Prosecutors are choosing four SJC members from 25 candidates. In all, 1,567 people can vote in 29 sections across Bulgaria.

After 6pm, each section opened its ballot box, counted the ballots and drew up a protocol, which the section's chair and members sign.
