All 19 prosecutors eligible to vote in Razgrad have cast their ballots in the election for the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Severina Moneva, chair of the local election commission, told BTA. Turnout at the polling station is 100%.

Prosecutors across Bulgaria began voting at 8am today. They are choosing four SJC members from 25 candidates.

Moneva said the day at the station passed calmly, with no incidents or problems. The commission has three prosecutors: Moneva as chair, Veselka Sabeva and Galin Tupev.

Ballots are on paper, and voting at the stations ran until 6pm. Razgrad is one of 29 polling stations in Bulgaria, and their number and locations match those of the regional courts.

The commission then opens the ballot box, counts the ballots, decides which are valid and draws up a protocol with the results. The count is filmed, and the video is streamed live on the SJC website and on the BTA page.
