A lorry has overturned near the Trayanovi Vrata tunnel on the Trakia motorway, in the lane towards Burgas. The driver is in hospital. Traffic is being sent along the I-8 road.
A lorry has overturned on the Trakia motorway toward Burgas, near the Trayanovi Vrata tunnel, the Sofia regional police directorate told BTA. The driver was taken to hospital to be checked.
The Road Infrastructure Agency says traffic to Burgas is being diverted along the I-8 road through Mirovo, Momina Klisura and Belovo.
The cause of the crash has not been given, and there are no reports of other injuries. It is not clear when the motorway will reopen.
