Police in Haskovo checked 606 vehicles and 761 people during a campaign to prevent road injuries, the Haskovo regional police directorate (ODMVR) said in a bulletin on 27 October 2026.

Under the Road Traffic Act, offenders received 102 on-the-spot fines, 9 penalty notices and 9 electronic fines. Police also served another 91 electronic fines for speeding.

Between 19 and 25 October, 1,131 people were given on-the-spot fines and 1,337 got electronic fines. Police issued 114 penalty notices.

In the same week, 704 vehicles were registered and 184 applications for SIP were accepted. Police handed 108 driving licences to drivers.
