Democratic Bulgaria has called for an emergency hearing in parliament with the State Agency for National Security (DANS), Military Intelligence, the State Intelligence Agency, the defence minister and prime minister Rumen Radev, Yes, Bulgaria co-chair Ivaylo Mirchev said. The call comes after drones hit two merchant ships in Bulgaria's economic zone in the Black Sea. Mirchev wrote on Facebook that he was once again urging president Yotova to call an emergency meeting of the Consultative Council for National Security. "We insist that president Yotova urgently convene the Consultative Council for National Security," he wrote.
Mirchev said that if Yotova fails to call the council again, it will confirm she is unfit for the post she holds and is running for.
Radev held a meeting with state institution representatives this morning over the stricken ships, the government press office said.
