Police have detained a 27-year-old man over a forest fire near the village of Kamilski Dol that burned 60 decares of pine forest, the regional police directorate in Haskovo says.
Police say the man lit a fire to keep warm and the wind spread the flames. The land and timber that burned belong to the state forest fund.
A pre-trial investigation has been opened.
