Firefighters put out 70 fires across Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, and three people were hurt, the General Directorate Fire Safety and Civil Protection says.
Crews responded to 105 calls in all. Sixteen of the fires caused damage, six of them in homes and one in a factory building.
Two fires broke out in outbuildings or makeshift structures, four in vehicles, one in outdoor equipment and two at other sites.
Firefighters also took part in 29 rescue and support operations, including road crashes, industrial accidents and calls for technical help. Six of the reports turned out to be false alarms.
