Border police at Kapitan Andreevo have seized 254 perfumes with fake trademarks and 8,600 cigarettes without tax stamps, the Haskovo regional police said in a bulletin on September 30.
Officers stopped a Mercedes on the main road near the village of Maslinovo and found 600 untaxed cigarettes in the boot. The driver is a 38-year-old man from Sofia.
Police at the Svilengrad district department also seized goods with fake trademarks.
An 11-year-old girl from the village of Dobrich was detained over the theft of clothes from a shop on Rakovski Street in Dimitrovgrad.
