Prosecutors in Montana are voting again to choose the members of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) from the prosecutors' quota. Polling station No. 12 opened at 8am without problems, its chair Oleg Dimitrov, a prosecutor at the Montana regional prosecutor's office, told BTA.

The first round was on Saturday, when prosecutors across Bulgaria voted for four SJC members. None of the 25 candidates won more than 50% of the votes cast, so the vote is being repeated, Dimitrov said.

Paper ballots can be cast at the Montana Palace of Justice until 6pm.

The polling station has 27 voters: prosecutors from the Montana regional and district prosecutor's offices and from the branches in Lom and Berkovitsa. Of them, 26 voted on Saturday.
