Presidential candidate Andrey Gyurov voted in Blagoevgrad today. He told reporters he wants a Bulgaria "where people earn enough, feel calm about tomorrow and the state does its job".
Gyurov said he thought about his children's future as he voted, and about everyone who goes to work, looks after their family and follows the rules.
Working families, he said, ask themselves whether their income will last to the end of the month and whether their children will have a future in Bulgaria. He does not want them to live in fear, in dependence and in the poverty of the past.
He wants the country to look ahead and to be European, free and proud.
Gyurov said it is a good sign every time people turn out to vote and so take their fate into their own hands.
