Police in Svilengrad have opened fast-track proceedings against a 42-year-old man from Haskovo, who was stopped for a check on the motorway.
Police stopped a 42-year-old man from Haskovo driving a Mercedes on the Maritsa motorway and found 2.64 per mille of alcohol in his breath, the Haskovo regional police directorate said in a bulletin on 2 November 2026.
