A 36-year-old man from the village of Varbovo was slightly hurt when he came off an electric scooter on Ilinden Boulevard in Haskovo, the regional police directorate (ODMVR) in Haskovo said in its bulletin on 23 October.
Police say he lost control of the scooter and was going too fast for the conditions. He wore no helmet and no high-visibility vest.
The man had 1.97 per mille of alcohol in his blood and refused to give a blood sample for tests.
