The Government of Bulgaria and the tour operator TUI are set to sign a memorandum to increase tourist flows from Germany to Bulgaria in 2027. The signing ceremony is scheduled for September 24 at 3:00 PM at the „Euxinograd“ Residence in Varna, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

The ceremony will be attended by Minister of Tourism Dr. Ilin Dimitrov and representatives from TUI.

At the beginning of September, Minister Dimitrov announced that a meeting of the TUI Board of Directors is upcoming. According to him, 150 company managers are expected to arrive in Varna.

He commented that the goal of the meeting is to restart relations with TUI, which he described as the largest tour operator in Europe. Furthermore, a global advertising agreement is also set to be signed.
