The Sozopol Municipal Council will present official certificates to the lifeguards of the municipal beaches during its upcoming 33rd regular session. The recognition is in honor of their contribution during the past summer campaign, according to the municipality's press center.
The awards will be presented by the Mayor of Sozopol Municipality, Tihomir Yanakiev, and the Chairman of the Municipal Council, Stanimir Andonov.
In addition to the award ceremony, the session's agenda includes the discussion of key documents, according to information from the official Municipal Council website. Councilors will review reports regarding the adoption of the 2025 municipal budget implementation report and the draft budget for the municipality for 2026. Also included in the list of important topics is the Sozopol Thermal Resilience Strategy in connection with climate change adaptation.
Other items for discussion include a proposal to grant the
