Construction and installation activities are advancing at four significant sites in Svilengrad, included in the municipal Integrated Territorial Investment project (ITI-1) "Overcoming inequalities in NUTS 3 peripheral municipalities along the Haskovo - Harmanli - Svilengrad axis for the transition to carbon-neutral, climate-resilient, and socially inclusive cities". The project is being implemented with the financial support of the "Regional Development" Program 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union.
At the "Hristo Botev" primary school in the village of Levka, the windows and lighting have already been replaced, and thermal insulation and facade plastering have been installed. Currently, interior finishing works, air conditioning installation, and courtyard landscaping are underway.
The main activities on the building of the Center for Residential Care for Able-bodied Adults have been completed. Interior works on the electrical and plumbing installations, plastering, as well as the construction of an extension to the main building, are ongoing.
Renovation activities are also being carried out in the urban environment of the "Izgrev" district, between "Vasil Levski" St. and "Hristo Shishmanov" St. Part of the spaces between the residential blocks have already been cleaned and leveled, and excavation works for the underground sewage and water network are forthcoming.
New window frames have been installed at the Community Center for Early Childhood Development. Work is currently being carried out on the electrical and plumbing installations of the facility, which will provide support for working with children and parents.
