Electricity prices will fall by 1.57 percent tomorrow

Electricity on the „Day-ahead“ market for October 3 will be cheaper than today, according to BNEB. The average price is 136.46 euros per megawatt-hour.

Electricity prices for Bulgarian businesses will fall by 1.57% tomorrow, the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (BIEE) said.

The average price for the „Day Ahead“ market closed at 136.46 euros per megawatt-hour (excluding VAT). Yesterday, the average price for this segment was 138.63 euros per megawatt-hour.

BIEE data shows that 101,018.93 megawatt-hours were sold in total. Tomorrow's prices depend on when the power is used. Peak energy between 09:00 and 20:00 will cost 86.53 euros per megawatt-hour on average. Prices during off-peak hours, from 01:00 to 08:00 and 21:00 to 24:00, will average 186.40 euros per megawatt-hour.

In the „Intraday“ segment, the average price for 60-minute products is 98.46 euros per megawatt-hour (excluding VAT). For 15-minute products, the average daily price is 124.65 euros per megawatt-hour (excluding VAT).
