Police found pesticides and cigarettes without excise stamps at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing and drew up reports against their owners, Haskovo regional police said.
Border police at the Kapitan Andreevo crossing found 3 kg and 1 litre of insecticides and 600 cigarettes without excise stamps, the Haskovo regional police directorate said in a bulletin on 8 October 2026.
The owners have been fined under the Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses Act.
