Police in Simeonovgrad stopped a 30-year-old woman riding an electric scooter with no registration plate and no driving licence. The Haskovo police bulletin for 6 October 2026 lists the case.

In Dimitrovgrad, police stopped a 69-year-old man driving a Volvo. A breath test showed 1.56 per mille of alcohol, and he now faces charges.

Over the same period, police logged 299 traffic violations in total — 20 formal citations and 279 on-the-spot fines, 117 of them for speeding.
