French troops and military vehicles are crossing the border at Ruse and driving to the Novo Selo training ground. The exercise there ends on 24 October, the Defence Ministry press office said.

Earlier this month the ministry also said foreign troops and equipment would pass through Bulgaria to take part in an exercise in Romania.
