Three people injured in fires across the country in the past 24 hours

According to the Ministry of Interior, fire brigades extinguished 137 fires and carried out 39 rescue operations over the past 24 hours.

Three people were injured in fires that broke out across Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, according to the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" on the Ministry of Interior website. Firefighting services responded to a total of 186 emergency calls as of 6:00 AM today.

During the 24-hour period, 39 rescue and assistance operations were conducted, eight of which involved vehicle accidents. The remaining cases involved providing technical assistance or support to citizens, other structures, and agencies. Additionally, 10 false alarms were reported.

Significant damage was caused by 21 fires that resulted in direct material destruction. These incidents include:

The remaining 116 fires caused no material damage. Notable among these were 61 cases affecting dry grass, shrubs, and forest litter, as well as 42 fires in waste and three in stubble fields. The total number of extinguished fires over the past 24 hours reaches 137.
