"One table. Many cultures. One community." – this is the core message of today's event, the final edition of the year, which will take place in the capital's "Oborishte" district. The evening on "Veliko Tarnovo" St. will be filled with music of various genres, played through speaker towers set up on-site.
The center of attention is a massive 120-meter-long table, laden with savory and sweet treats, as well as a variety of drinks. It will serve as a meeting point for friends, neighbors, relatives, and strangers, bringing together people of all ages. Until 22:00 tonight, Sofia residents and visitors can sit at the table to chat in the warm September atmosphere. Every visitor has the opportunity to bring their own homemade food or purchase something from the nearby stalls.
At these stalls, one can find banitsa, eclairs, sponge cake, rolls, baklava, drinks, and other products.
Special entertainment has also been arranged for children – a drawing corner and various workshops have been organized, where they can create a variety of crafts on their own.
The "Big Table" initiative in Sofia has been running since July 2024.
