SOFIX falls below 1,500 points

Three of the four main indexes on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange ended today's session lower, and SOFIX dropped below 1,500 points.

Three of the four main Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices closed lower today, and SOFIX fell below 1,500 points. The index dropped 1.15% to 1,491.08 points.

The other two main indices also ended in the red: BGBX40 fell 0.79% to 243.57 points, and BGTR30 lost 0.45% to 1,152.04 points. Only two indices gained: BGREIT rose 0.22% to 243.81 points, and beamX rose 0.96% to 127.42 points.

Trades on the main market totalled 766,154 euros. Turnover on the alternative market came to nearly 1,000 euros, on the Beam market it was 136,764 euros, and on the MTF BSE International segment it reached close to 670,000 euros.

First Investment Bank was the most traded stock, with 58 deals covering 43,148 lots worth 181,787 euros. Its price rose 0.93% to 4.34 euros a share. Shelly Group saw 35 deals covering 2,910 lots worth 191,721 euros, and its price fell 0.91% to 65.6 euros a share.

Shares in Bulgaria Real Estate Fund REIT rose 0.73% to 2.77 euros a share, on 28 deals covering 15,162 lots worth 41,747 euros. Shareholders at the company's general meeting approved a board proposal to pay a dividend of 7.8 million euros from past years' retained earnings. That comes to a gross dividend of 0.225 euros a share, or a net 0.21375 euros for individual shareholders. The dividend will go to shareholders listed in the central securities register on 19 October 2026, 14 days after the general meeting.

Sopharma fell 3.10% to 2.5 euros a share. Speedy lost 0.57% to close at 87 euros a share, and Sirma Group dropped 1% to 0.79 euros a share.
