The cabinet will discuss changes to the Public Finance Act to pay extra money to parents whose children could not get a place in a municipal nursery, according to the draft agenda for its meeting, published by the government press office.

The payments are set out in two draft decrees. They cover parents of children left without a place in municipal nurseries or in nursery groups at municipal and state kindergartens, for two periods: 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026, and 1 July to 31 August 2026.

The agenda also includes changes to the Fiscal Council and Automatic Corrective Mechanisms Act and to the Civil Aviation Act. A separate item lists the peacetime tasks for which the Interior Ministry and the Health Ministry may use military aircraft.

Ministers will also look at changes to the Inclusive Education Ordinance. Municipalities will get extra money for work under the national programme "Optimising the Internal Structure of Staff".

The cabinet will also consider a plan to take over private land near the village of Lagoshevtsi, in Dimovo municipality. The land is linked to the Vidin–Medkovets railway section on the Vidin–Sofia line.

Ministers will also review a draft memorandum on economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia. If they approve it, the document will serve as the basis for talks.
