The Vazrazhdane party has announced its candidates for president and vice president — Kostadin Kostadinov and MEP Petar Volgin will run for the post in the elections on October 25. The pair was presented in front of the Pyramid of Independence in Veliko Tarnovo, exactly 118 years after Bulgaria's declaration of independence.
Russia has been at war in Ukraine since February 2022, while the EU and Bulgaria support Kyiv and the sanctions imposed on Moscow.
