Parliament's legal affairs committee will hear candidates for the judges' and prosecutors' chambers of the Supreme Judicial Council elected under Parliament's quota on November 2. The hearing will be streamed online, and if it runs over, it will continue on November 3 and 4.
The committee has already checked the candidates' papers. Thirteen names were cleared for the judges' chamber: Aneta Antonova, Vasil Pandov, Evgeniy Staykov, Emil Dechev, Ivan Ranchev, Kalin Batalski, Mihail Malchev, Petyo Slavov, Svetozar Georgiev, Silvia Tsanova, Tanya Radulovska, Tsveta Rangelova and Tsvetko Lazarov.
For the prosecutors' chamber, eight candidates were cleared: Andrey Yankulov, Veselin Vuchkov, Emil Dechev, Ekaterina Getova, Ivan Kalibatsev, Krasimir Komsalov, Milena Karagyozova and Stefan Milev.
