Border police at the Kapitan Andreevo crossing found 3,480 cigarettes with no tax stamps, according to a bulletin from the regional police directorate in Haskovo dated 28 September. Officers filed two reports under the law on excise duty and tax warehouses.
In Simeonovgrad, police stopped two men and found a gram of drugs on each of them.
On Hristo Botev Street, officers found a gram of methamphetamine and a gram of marijuana on two young men, aged 24 and 17.
In Harmanli, police seized a gram of a white crystal substance from a 22-year-old man.
