One person died and 13 were hurt in 13 serious crashes across Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, police say.
Sofia saw two serious crashes and 28 minor ones, leaving two people injured.
So far this year, 345 people have died on Bulgaria's roads — 25 more than in the same period of 2025. There have been 5,036 crashes in total, with 6,245 people hurt.
