Bulgaria's national weather institute, NIMH, has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain across almost the whole country today, 12 October. The institute says a cold front will move from west to east.

Many places can expect short but at times heavy rain and thunderstorms.

There is no warning for the regions of Vidin, Sofia Province, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Dobrich and Varna.

Minimum temperatures will be between 10° and 15°, and maximums mostly between 13° and 18°. In eastern Bulgaria, highs will reach 20° to 24°.
