The wholesale price of power in Bulgaria for 10 October is €231.68 per megawatt hour without VAT, 4.06% lower than today's, the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange (IBEX) said.

The figures are for the day-ahead market and were set after the exchange closed today. Today's price is €241.49 per megawatt hour, so businesses in Bulgaria will pay less for power tomorrow.

Between 09:00 and 20:00, power will cost an average of €205.68 per megawatt hour tomorrow. In the other hours, from 01:00 to 08:00 and from 21:00 to 24:00, the average price is €257.67. The volume traded on the day-ahead market is 77,655.25 megawatt hours.

On the intraday market, 60-minute products are now trading at a weighted average price of €241.72 per megawatt hour without VAT. The weighted average price of 15-minute products so far today is €251.96 without VAT.
