Haskovo municipality is now taking applications for financial help with IVF treatment — the municipality has set aside 50,000 euros for 2026. Families with fertility problems can apply, as can couples living together as partners in the municipality.

Applications are taken in person from September 24 to October 14, 2026:

  • Where to apply: Haskovo municipality, 1 Obshtinski Square, at the Public Services Centre.

The municipality has helped families with fertility problems since 2014. So far 236 couples have got help through the scheme, and 42 babies have been born as a result. Last year, 2025, 10 couples were approved for IVF treatment.
