Gas on the Balkan Gas Hub platform cost 69.44 euros per megawatt-hour for delivery today, October 5, in the day-ahead segment. That price also serves as the reference for the within-day segment, where trading closed yesterday at 70.03 euros per megawatt-hour.

At the Dutch TTF hub, November gas futures stood at around 74.68 euros per megawatt-hour at 10:30am Bulgarian time today, ICE exchange data show. The session opened this morning at 76.345 euros per megawatt-hour, after closing on Friday at 74.76 euros per megawatt-hour.

Gas in Bulgaria is running about 6 euros per megawatt-hour cheaper than at Europe's main hub.
