Drivers heading toward Sofia on the Trakia motorway can only use the overtaking lane between the 33rd and 34th kilometre while crews repair the asphalt, the Road Infrastructure Agency says. The restriction stays in place until 4 p.m.

The agency is urging drivers to take extra care and slow down in the area.

The agency has also closed the emergency lane on the Hemus motorway toward Varna, between the 13th and 19th kilometre. Surveyors are working there until October 8 ahead of planned repairs on that stretch.
