Bulgaria's Central Election Commission has launched a mobile app called "Elections 360°" with information and tools for the 25 October presidential election, the commission's press office says.
The app has two sections: "For voters" and "For polling station committees." The commission says the app should help voters get information faster and more easily, and help polling station committee members work more efficiently.
The "For voters" section covers the voting process and online services, and lists all candidates for president and vice-president. It also has an interactive map of polling stations and a voting-machine simulator, so people can practice the steps of voting beforehand.
Through the app, people can also apply to vote at their current address and check which polling station they're assigned to, using the online services of the civil registration agency GRAO. It includes guidance on how to vote and the key deadlines too.
The "For polling station committees" section helps election committee members. It carries electronic versions of the result forms for paper and machine voting, as well as the forms for control counts. The aim is to make them easier to fill out and cut down on mistakes when counting the results.
Election commission spokeswoman Stoyanka Balova said on 1 September that the "eProtocol" app has been getting an upgrade for two months now. It was already available to polling station committee members, so they could practice filling out the result form correctly. A similar eProtocol tool was also built for the 19 April 2026 parliamentary election.
