One person has died and one person was injured in 156 fires extinguished across the country over the past 24 hours. According to data from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" – Ministry of Interior, in a report as of 6:00 a.m. this morning, firefighting teams responded to a total of 186 calls for various incidents.

Of these, 30 fires caused direct material damage. For greater clarity, the damages are listed below:

  • five fires in residential buildings;
  • three in industrial buildings;
  • five in auxiliary, temporary, or makeshift structures;
  • four in vehicles;
  • one in forest massifs;
  • three in agriculture.

An additional 126 fires occurred without causing material damage. Among them, 86 were in dry grass, forest litter, and shrubs, two were in stubble fields, and 37 were in waste materials.

In addition to the fires, 19 rescue activities and assistance operations were carried out, four of which involved vehicle accidents.
