Thirteen serious crashes happened across Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, injuring 15 people, with no deaths, the interior ministry said on its website.

In Sofia over the same period there were two serious and 27 minor crashes, with two people hurt.

So far this month, 46 people have died on Bulgaria's roads and 786 have been hurt.

Since the start of the year, 359 people have died and 6,364 have been hurt. That's 36 more deaths than in the same period of 2025, when 323 people were killed.
