Stambolovo's town council votes today on how the town spent its 2025 budget. It's the 47th council session, held on Stambolovo's town day, according to documents given to BTA.
Stambolovo brought in 97% of the revenue it had planned — 2.281 million levs. The biggest share came from selling non-financial assets, which raised 163% more than expected. Spending on local services reached 68% of the plan.
Five items are on today's agenda. Two involve money from an Interreg Greece-Bulgaria project to protect and restore green ecosystems. Councillors will vote on whether to lend money from the town budget for the project, and whether to issue a promissory note to the regional development ministry, which runs the program.
The Interreg contract is worth 424,783.62 euros. The promissory note is for 67,965.38 euros.
