DPS leader Delyan Peevski has accused prime minister Rumen Radev of directing the police raids in Belitsa and Sungurlare from his office. The raids are under way now. Peevski made the claim to reporters in parliament.
Peevski said he had listened with interest to Radev and heard him talk about the "top of the oligarchy". In his view, it sits in one place, the prime minister's office. Radev and Nikolay Koprinkov are at its top, he said, and everything goes to the two of them. Peevski said Radev should have named the top himself, and added that Radev could do so.
Peevski claimed that the heads of the interior ministry and the State Agency for National Security (DANS) are constantly meeting the prime minister. He said he has such information.
"He has taken over all functions. I think he does not know who he is, everything is mixed up in his head," Peevski said of Radev. He said the prime minister has become frightened: "I watched this anger, this helplessness, so much fear of yesterday's protest, of the agencies' polls."
Radev and Koprinkov can freely call on Ivan Demerdzhiev to "expose" them, Peevski added.
