Bulgaria's electricity system security fund (FSES) has no deficit and its budget is balanced, energy minister Iva Petrova told MPs on parliament's energy committee.
She said the fund is under control. It pays what the law requires and what the current schemes to offset electricity prices require, and its income is on plan.
Petrova said the aim is to keep the fund's budget balanced.
The law sets the fund's rules, and it uses the current schemes to offset electricity prices.
