One person died and 19 were hurt in 22 road accidents across Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, according to the interior ministry's website.
Sofia had four serious crashes and 16 minor ones. Three people were injured.
Since the start of the month, Bulgaria has recorded 510 crashes. They have killed 40 people and injured 623.
Since the start of 2026, there have been 5,672 serious crashes. They have killed 405 people and injured 7,025.
In the same period of 2025, 358 people died, 47 fewer.
