Fuel prices in the country continue to rise this week, with the most noticeable increase seen in diesel, which has gone up by 3.72 percent. Data from the "Fuello" platform shows that the average price of diesel jumped from 1.88 euro per liter on September 13 to 1.95 euro today. Over the past month, this type of fuel has increased by 7.14 percent, or 0.13 euro per liter.

A95 gasoline registered an average increase of 0.05 euro per liter, or 3.07 percent for the week. Its current average price is 1.68 euro per liter compared to 1.63 euro a week ago, with a monthly rise reaching 7.69 percent (0.12 euro per liter).

Propane-butane has increased by 0.01 euro per liter, or 1.47 percent for the week. Over the month, the increase stands at 6.15 percent, or 0.04 euro per liter. Methane is also becoming more expensive, rising by 0.01 euro per kilogram, or 0.72 percent for the week. The monthly increase for methane is 6.87 percent, or 0.09 euro per kilogram.

BTA recalls that on September 18, the government announced the removal of the excise duty on propane-butane. Additionally, support will be introduced in the form of subsidies for public transport, student transport, and medical transport.
