Voting in the runoff in Haskovo region began without problems and is going normally at all polling stations, Ina Veskova, chair of the Haskovo regional election commission, told reporters.
Before the stations opened, the regional police directorate (ODMVR) said it had recorded no public order violations in the region.

A total of 224,886 people can vote. The region has 475 polling stations, the same as in the first round, and 350 of them use voting machines. Seven are mobile stations. Separate stations operate in the detention centre, in the hospitals in Haskovo and Dimitrovgrad, and in the old people's home in Ivaylovgrad.
Six of the 3,785 election commission members did not turn up when the stations opened. They will be replaced. Veskova said she believes their absence did not hold up voting. So far there are no reports of broken machines.
At polling station 96 in Haskovo, a voter pulled out the card before the machine printed the receipt. A technician checked and the vote had been counted. The station's protocol will record a discrepancy: a machine vote without a receipt. There were nine such cases in the first round.
Yesterday, the day of reflection, the Haskovo regional election commission received one complaint. A check found it to be unfounded.
The region received 249,300 ballots for the runoff, 10% more than the number of voters. The print run meets the requirements of the Electoral Code.
Results will be processed at 12 counting points in the Druzhba hall in Haskovo, and a 13th will open if needed. On election night, 21 staff from Information Services will work.
