Firefighting units responded to 175 accident reports over the past 24 hours, extinguishing 137 fires with no reported fatalities or injuries, according to the General Directorate „Fire Safety and Civil Protection“ – Ministry of Interior as of 6:00 a.m. this morning.
During this period, 32 rescue activities and assistance operations were conducted. Seven of these were related to vehicle accidents, while the remaining cases covered various incidents and situations where assistance was provided to citizens and various organizations.
The damage from the fires is distributed as follows:
- 26 fires resulted in direct material damage. These include 11 cases in residential buildings, six in vehicles, one in an industrial building, and one in a forest area;
- 111 fires caused no material damage. The breakdown for these is as follows: 70 occurred in dry grass, forest litter, and shrubs, 35 in waste, and one fire occurred in crop stubble.
