Firefighters carried out 32 rescue and assistance operations over the past 24 hours, seven of which involved vehicle accidents. As of 6:00 a.m. this morning, no fatalities or injuries have been reported, according to the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" – Ministry of Interior.
Firefighting units responded to 175 emergency calls, with a total of 137 fires extinguished. Direct material damage was sustained in 26 cases. These fires included:
- 11 – in residential buildings;
- six – in vehicles;
- one – in an industrial building;
- one – in a forest area.
No material damage was reported in the remaining 111 fires. These consisted of 70 cases involving dry grass, forest litter, and shrubs, 35 fires in waste materials, and one fire in stubble fields. The remaining cases involved various incidents where assistance was provided to citizens and different organizations.
