Iliyana Iotova and Kiril Valchev lead with 43.2% in a Gallup International Balkan poll ahead of the presidential election on 25 October, BTA reported.
The poll was not run by Myara for Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), as first reports said. Those reports gave Iotova and Valchev 43.4%.
Earlier story: Iotova and Valchev lead with 43.4% in Myara poll for BNR
Andrey Gyurov and Georgi Kandev are second with 29.7%, not 28.9%. Kostadin Kostadinov and Petar Volgin are third with 12.4%, not 10.2%.
The other results in the first report stay the same. Ivelin Mihaylov and Yuliana Mateeva have 3.1%, Radostin Vasilev and Krasimir Manov 2.9%, and Ivan Hristanov and Stoyanka Cherkezova 1.9%. About 1% say they back Georgi Dimov, Ivaylo Simeonov, Rosen Milenov, Volen Siderov, Rumyana Chenalova and Ivanka Tsvetanova-Petkova. Some 2.5% back no one. If the share is counted against the whole sample rather than only those who will vote, 1% equals nearly 53,000 people.
The poll ran from 14 to 22 October, not from 8 to 19 October 2026 as first reported. Those reports also mentioned face-to-face interviews with tablets. In all, 1,001 people were questioned, not 1,009 Bulgarian adults.
The first report said the poll is nationally representative, with a maximum margin of error of ±3.1 at 50% shares.
About 2.6m voters say they will vote. The first report put expected turnout at 39.4%, probably a little above that in earlier polls.
The election campaign is dull and uninteresting for 38.7% of those questioned. For 16.6% it is "interesting and dynamic", while 41.1% choose neither description.
For more than three quarters of adults, the person who is president matters a lot. The vice president matters for 57.4%, but answers on that were less clear-cut. Some 67.8% back wider powers for the presidency. In the first report, Myara said this answer probably reflects some automatic response, but that it points to mass instincts.
Pollsters said it is not possible to predict whether these candidates will win real support, because hundreds of thousands of adult Bulgarians have yet to decide whom to vote for. The figures reflect views in the middle of October.
