As part of the preparations for the upcoming presidential and vice-presidential elections on October 25, 2026, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has already established the terms and procedure for machine voting. In this regard, the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Transformation (MIDT) is taking steps to recruit external experts to perform the certification of the technical devices.
According to the procedure approved by the Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation Ivan Vasilev, a total of eight specialists will be hired. All those wishing to participate in the process must submit their applications electronically by 5:30 p.m. on September 24, 2026, by sending them to the email address: docs@mig.government.bg.
The MIDT press office reminds interested parties that they can review the candidate criteria in detail and obtain further clarifications regarding the selection process by visiting the announcement published on the ministry's official website.
