Police arrested three men last week who used a network to share files showing child sexual abuse, the organised crime police (GDBOP) said on their Facebook page.
One of them, aged 57, was arrested on 19 October by officers from the cybercrime directorate. Prosecutors said today he has been charged with keeping pornographic material showing children at his home.
Officers seized a computer, a tablet and a mobile phone from him. In a first check, GDBOP found many files on the devices. The directorate says the suspect made some of them himself. The computer archive is 13 GB and holds child sexual abuse material.
Some of the recordings show indecent behaviour in public places, including public transport, parks, gardens and beaches. Some of the videos and photos show underage boys and girls.
Prosecutors will ask a court to keep the 57-year-old in custody permanently.
